I know, I know… “You’re just now reading this book?” Yes, indeed! I finally did, and I loved it — giving it 4 out of 5 stars. C.S. Lewis’s writing has truly inspired the way I think about storytelling and how I want to approach writing future books. The way he brings the story to life is truly a real gift. I was glad when Edmund finally realized that the White Witch was completely out of her mind. I laughed, and I cried — especially at the part when Aslan died. That moment reminded me so much of Jesus and the cross. And yes Aslan came back alive (thank goodness!). Is it bad to say I’d definitely rather stay in Narnia than come back to our world after being crowned a Queen? Lol. Have you read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe yet?
